Friday Meta - Internalized Misogyny

A good portion of fanfic writers are of the female persuasion, yes? And yet we see a lot of what is internalized misogyny in fic. Where do you notice it the most?

I notice it the most in fics with Winona, but Jocelyn too. They hurt our boys/put them in the way of hurt ------> evieeeel. Sometimes I like this kind of story, like simple good-and-evil, but so often it can also be overdone too.
