Just woke up and reading forums. Neogaf going crazy about beta info. Unconfirmed: "Neither the Alpha or Beta has started. Registration for the open beta will begin March 11. Sounds like the Alpha will be short."

Can't find any big site confirming this tho, /excitement! Open beta would be aweeeesome!

Confirmed :) http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/event/vanafes2010/ and click on "secret bonus stage!" in the left menu. The stuff about alpha/beta/open beta I'm not sure about tho.

I dun get what they mean, do they mean all FF11 users get in FF14 beta? Or only active users or wattt... I'll just wait for general beta release.

I'm pretty sure they mean 'some' active FFXI players will get the keys early, not all.

got mine this morning, Beta site launches on the 11th. Well.. alpha at this point.
