(no subject)
its hotter than hell outside, i like how that means its 67, but i dont have ac.....so that makes it 85. especially with the windows closed at night because of the damn construction. ok, enough complaining! this weekend was so much fun. thursday night i went out with jenn and her friend steve, who was convinced i was a yarn-spinning hippie, but whatever. we went out bar hopping and i saw about 10,000 people from high school. it was so fun.
friday i was pretty pleasantly hungover, so i went out with lauren all day getting ready for the 80s party. we went all over king street looking for the ugliest tackiest things possible...and we got it! i was 80s prom queen with a strapless silver sequin dress that had a huge purple bow on the hip and a black poofie skirt that was angled out. shala did my hair for like 2 hours while we took vodka shots, ultimately to my downfall of the night. i was sooooo trashed, i dont really remember anything, so im sure the party was ok, but who knows!
so i was really hungover on saturday....it was kinda gross waking up drunk, but whatever. we had a lunch thing at macados for IRA which turned into an all day fun fest with rebekah and jordan! we were so incredibly random and all over the place. i got my hair cut, i dont know if i like it yet, im adjusting to bangs. but i stole shalas sunglasses (stole meaning i found them in rebekahs car, so yeah, ill give them back!) and wore them all day to escape the sun, which jordan and i decided was jesus punishing me for being an alcoholic....and we have a new motto: be a cheeto! i dont really know what we have t live up to to achive that, but im pretty excited. saturday night was very chill, rebekah and i rented little miss sunshine and relaxed after a huge weekend of prepping for the 80s thing. that movie is so cute in a dark comedy kinda way.
sunday was definitely pretend it was summer day! lauren and i went to the park and laid out all afternoon, on our "island"...hahahahahaha, im so looking forward to more of that!!! i will miss lauren this summer, ive gotten used to seeing her all the time. its gonna be like freshman yr when we used over 1000 minutes a week talking on the phone!
ive become so relaxed lately. school still makes me freak out, but ive almost become a chill person. thats so unlike me to not have to be busy 24/7 or deal with drama. i have to say i enjoy it. ive been going to the park a lot and just walking around. i think going to the gym has been a good way for me to get rid of stress and make my mind relax. ive become much more solitary. i enjoy being on my own and not being around people all the time. i think it lets me enjoy my friends more when i see them. ok, enough of my rambling
