Been awhile. Let's see...
New job is going well. I like it. I miss things about my old job, like working with Amy. But, I also really like things about my new job.
Grandma passed away in June. That was really tough. Even though she wasn't my real grandma, she was my grandma... and the last living grandparent we both had. She died at 99.5 years old. Good life for her.
Had ankle surgery. Again. Basically the same injury, other ankle. Recovering now. Joy.
Canceled vacation to San Francisco next month because of the ankle surgery. What a tradeoff!
Hmmm... starting to think about Homecoming Hoopla more and more. It's that time of year. I think we're moving it to the weekend before. The majority of the responses indicated that would be the better choice for most folks. Only one person said she'd like it to stay on the actual day. There were several that said they didn't care which day, just let them know when and where to show up!
Yep, that's pretty much it. Ready for the heat to break! Bring on autumn, my favorite season!!!
