Below is a graph. I basically took the mileage and date off ever receipt I have from my Honda Element's service record that has that info and plotted it. The time on the X-axis is simply the days since purchase (04/08/2006). Obviously the Y-axis is mileage. The red square with black "X" is when Abby was born. The equation are the linear fit to the data before and after Abby's birth. As you can see before Abby was born I was averaging nearly 63 miles a day. After Abby's birth only averaged ~51.5 miles each day. Yeah, more pointless evidence kids change your life.
