This weekend I notice a split in the side of my cell phone case for my new EVO. It was just a simple silicone gel case I had bought with the phone. I stopped at the Sprint Store where I had bought phone and case this evening on my way home from work, no receipt, no paper work. Walked in showed the damage case to a sale associate. You probably paid them enough to cover ten of those things when you first bought it.

Probably but it is nice to see that they value long term costumer satisfaction over immediate profits.

Nice! I ended up getting the HTC Aria through AT&T. I have a cheapo screen cover on there right now, and I'm waiting on my silicone bumper case from Amazon.

I'm thinking of getting the Invisible Shield thing for the screen. A salesman at Best Buy saw me looking at them, pulled out his iPhone and told me that his was nearly a year old. For that age, it was doing QUITE well. No peeling, only a few scratches. But the cheap cover I have is smooth and easy to swipe over. Invisible Shield is more grabby and tacky. The salesman agreed and said that every now and then he'll pull it out of his pocket and a freaking coin will be stuck to the screen.

I have a static cling screen cover on my EVO. So far it has held up well, stayed stuck down and feels very much like the naked screen. Not sure the brand since it was sold under Sprint's brand specifically for the EVO.

I had Invisible Shield for my HTC Mogul but that resisting screen utilized a stylus not the flat of your finger. It was a great screen protector just not sure it is a great choice for a capacitive screens on the newer phones.

It seems to work fine. Just the texture issue.

Also, I'm considering making a stylus out of aluminum or brass, maybe tipped in conductive foam.
