Recommend a new office first person shooter
So at present we usually play several games of Halo (Combat Evolved for the PC) at then end of the work day. We usually have between 4 - 6 players and for the most part really enjoy Halo but it is getting a little long in the tooth. So I would like to hear some recommendations for a good straight forward first person shooter similar to Halo but a bit newer/updated. The setting can be pretty wide open and does not have to be futuristic setting like Halo Nothing overly complicated, or requires a lot of time to play a multi-player game. Although we do often play games of CTF, King of the Hill and Odd-ball in addition to regular slayer games in Halo so a variety of multi-player modes is good. If it incorporated some ability to create traps (like the old laser trip mines and pipe bomb of Duke Nukem) that would be icing on the cake. It must also run under XP as the company has not updated yet. Most of the machine at ~2.6-3.0Ghz Pentium IV's with two 64-bit quad-cores running the 64-bit version of XP. I would hope/expect to update to Win-7 in the next year, but won't be holding my breath.
