Riding around West Philly
Yesterday I had a great little evening bike ride. I ended up going to Clark Park to see what it looks like now that the fence is down and the park is open again. It looked rather spiffy. Besides new grass, there were new paths and lighting. I then took Chester Avenue up to 49th Street and turned up Walnut Street. Walnut Street took me to the bike path along the Cobbs Creek Parkway. The final leg of the trip was Baltimore Avenue from 61st Street all the way back to my area. Although it's a small ride compared to the epic journeys some of my friends go on, it was pretty satisfying for me.
I used to do rides like this every weekend and I'm going to try to get back into that habit.
