There was a lovely, middle-aged man that worked at my grandfather's butcher shop, and he had been there for about as long as I can remember. He was a complete cliché but completely unforgettable, a man of few words but full of wisdom, kindness and a strange sense of humour. He was a bit cracked in the head, too.
