If I went ahead and blurted it out:
"I want you to be my girlfriend. I want to be with you.
Thats all I want."
But that just won't do.
I don't know why. I just can't bear to say anything so bluntly.
Lets try this:
"Hey, can I ask you something?"
She turns to look at me.
"You know I like you. Can we... y'know, make it official?"
That won't work either.
Too... reluctant.
I need the perfect balance.
One more time:
"When I had the chance to see you, my heart fluttered. Actually looking at what I had fallen in love with, made the feeling that much stronger. Will you... will you..."
And then I faint and all the rest never happens.
I just want to get this part over with.
