ER Visit

Nov 11, 2015 21:46

I've been to the ER many times, but never for myself. Yesterday I went to see what was causing a small egg sized lump under the skin of my right, upper, inner thigh. It was a puss pocket, which they lanced and squeezed to get out as much of the puss as possible. After dressing the wound I left with an anti-biotic prescription and an admonishment to return today to have it inspected and replaced.

I returned, they removed the old and placed a new dressing. If pain or yucky discharge are experienced, I am to return, but otherwise just finish taking the prescribed med.

For some reason this dressing bothers me more than the previous one. I will deal with it tomorrow, if I continue to feel discomfort.
