Gantz
I've been reading Gantz and actually I'm up to the current chapter at the moment. I found it really interesting in that you follow a character when you meet him he's not much better than discarded gum. He's extremely antisocial and unless it has big boobies to bounce in his face he gives it no value. Part 1 of the story is pretty basic bloodshed and boobies kind of a story. Part 2 Kei starts to grow as a person and I kind of started to like the guy a bit. Part 3 he's all grown up and making decisions.
Granted I complained about part 2 lasting way too long for what it was part 3 has been the best of it by far. It is sad though because it is the end of the story really. I mean sure the author might take the story in a new direction later but as far as Kei's story and the reason for Gantz it really is only a mater of completion.
From the readings there was mention of a live action movie being made. Where was the advertisements on this? Oh well at least I can reap the rewards for being late by renting it as both movies are out on DVD ^_^.
