I've had a pretty good weekend trying to get things in line and doing some fun but positive things.
Saturday I went to a British car show in Mesilla, a touristy town right next to Las Cruces, and took lots of
pictures. I got to sit in the Lotus Europa, the low-slung white car in the set.
lalabob11 showed
dayzeroproject.com, which is helps you make a list of 101 goals and tracks your progress. I've added things like getting a degree, learning to drive a manual transmission and shooting a rabbit.
I've finally filled out the written portions on my OK Cupid profile. I also added a picture from this year.
I'm well on my way to passing three of the five classes I'm taking. That means no more Spanish, which is frustrating at this level. I'll need to take five more classes during, and I've already registered for three during the summer. I might just have to take a full 12 credit hours or five classes in the fall, but I'll get to that in a second. I'm sure I can find some fun intro classes or maybe some philosophy that I haven't gotten around to taking.
I'm going to apply for our school newspaper,
The Roundup, in the fall. They're restructuring to do mostly online content and want people to do shift work. Most people think it's a bad idea, but it should be interesting and they're hiring for lots of positions. I do need to be a full-time student to apply.
