Father's Day

Mary and I went to San Antonio this morning to spend a few hours with my Dad. We left around 10 something and got there right before 1. Well, they have moved since the last time I was there in March, so mom printed out some directions from Mapquest. *I* use Yahoo! Maps because they just tend to be more accurate. And today was no different. After driving around town for a good 30 minutes, missing my turns/streets, etc, we finally made it.

We chatted with Dad a little, watched some of the NASCAR race he had on. We went to HEB (grocery store for you non-Texans) and picked up his requests: chicken thighs and potatoes, 2 6-packs of beer, and a pack of cigarettes. Went back to the house, he BBQed, we ate, we talked and watched tv, and then we came home around 6.

On the way home, I saw a lot of black smoke and knew something was on fire. Something that had fluids that were highly combustible. We go up a ways and there was a white Neon on FIRE! I mean, that thing...it was not salvagable at ALL. It was half burnt up by the time we passed it slowly. Not sure what caused it, but I'm sure the extreme heat outside did not help matters.

Anyway, I gotta get off here for a few hours since Mark wants to get on and play some damn game. I never get to have online time. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAA
