Ugh.
Still here at work. Waiting for Mark to get off work...and I guess it's good that I am here and making up time from being out with my Dad so much in February. I'm almost positive the rest of my time will be completely made up in a couple weeks when I go on that Austin field trip and will be "working" way more hours than what I'd be doing if I'd stayed in Corpus. That'll be nice to be done with.
And I'm going through hell trying to find cheap enough airfare to Norfolk. I knoooooooooooooow there's Memorial Day and that's why a lot of flights are booked, but geez...give a girl a break! I just wanna get to the east coast so I can veg and have fun with my best friend, who has now been gone 3 months. It sure seems a lot longer than that though...
I had to sub for freshmen today - at the end of the day. It wasn't completely horrible, but it was pretty damn close. And this certified teacher they have on campus as an inclusion teacher was asked/told to do it and she totally didn't come up. She CLAIMS she came up to check, but she NEVER stuck her head in and spoke to me. Pssh. So, not knowing this, I came back in my office after the 4 o'clock bell rang and sent an email to the teacher whose class I covered and the principal's secretary...for documentation purposes. That's how I found out that that witch was supposed to be in there and said she went. But, hello! If you have to sub, then you KNOW you should be there even before the tardy bell rings for the kids. COMMON SENSE.
Anyway, tomorrow is "Friday" - soooooooooo glad for that. I don't plan on doing a whole lot this weekend...more of the same...vegging, cleaning, internet, etc. I do have some confetti-filled eggs that I need to smash on Mark's head. ;)
