Randall Munroe, but here's my 2008 U.S. presidential endorsement, for those who care. It's the last you'll hear about it unless you ask.
I support Barack Obama for President. I don't agree with everything in his platform, and I think several other candidates are also good choices, but Obama is best because:
I do find Obama's association with an anti-gay speaker troubling. But (like I said in your Ron Paul thread), I won't automatically condemn someone just because he associates with people whose views I dislike (especially if he also disagrees with those views).
Regarding Kucinich, I too liked his platform better than the remaining candidates. But he withdrew before your vote was even counted, so you literally threw your vote away. Even if he were still in the race, the purpose of a primary is not to elect a president, but to select a candidate. Kucinich might be a fine president, but I think we would be a poor candidate, because I don't think he can convince a majority of voters to agree with him. The best candidate might not be the one I personally agree with most; it doesn't matter how much I like someone if he won't win the general election.
