First day of work...

I must say about the comments on my previous entry, thanks for the advice on the Huggies Swimmers... I'm going to pick up some for the next time I bring Aiden swimming. Everyone seems to say they work well.

Alright, so I got up this morning at 7, fed Aiden, got ready for work :(, gave my kisses good bye to my loved ones and headed off to work at about 730. Office work till 9:30. All the same stuff as before with a few minor adjustments. Nothing overly different though. 9:30-10:30 put up all the item clearance tags, 10:30-11:00 had to go to the bank to drop off deposits and get change for the safe, 11:00-12:00 scanned all the outs. Same shit, differnt day. But I missed my Aiden so much! I still wish I didn't have to go back to work because I enjoy staying home with him so much. But I guess it is okay. He got to spend some quality time with his dad, and that's always good. He was pretty well behaved while I wasn't around. Apparantly it's harder on me than it is on him! Although, he wouldn't drink the milk that dad tried to give him... I had pumped some last night for him. I don't know why he wouldn't drink it. Lori said that Logan started getting more picky about things around Aiden's age. So it's probably just because he's only drank out of a bottle 3 times before and is now deciding that he likes my nipple better... hmm... typical male. haha! Anyway, Ben was able to feed him some Prunes and that filled him up pretty nicely. So I got home at noon and fed Aiden and he went down for another nap. I pumped the other breast and then I took a small nap myself until Aiden woke back up and Ben brought him upstairs to me because he thought he was hungry. I fed him, then came back downstairs and played with him for a bit. I brought him over to Lori's and set him down next to Logan. At first I was like.. 'aww! look, Logan's petting Aiden's head!' that quickly turned into 'aww! look, Logan's got a grip on Aiden's hair!!!!!' LoL We got Logan to let go of Aiden's hair then put them a little further apart! Aiden didn't seem to mind much, and Logan sure thought it was fun so no harm done there! Came back home just before Ben went to work. Aiden got his shower just after Ben left, and then we headed upstairs. He fell right asleep, but it was like 5:30 and I'm thinking of making Aiden's bedtime a little later. Especially since there is a time change coming up soon. The next time Aiden woke up it was like 6:30, so I went to get him but apparantly all he wanted was more titty. So he got it... Then he got up again at 7:30 and I brought him downstairs. I think he just wanted to sleep because he was pretty grouchy until I turned on Castles in the Sky and had the Visual Studio turned on for him to check out. Then we danced a little. When the song was over, we read a book a couple times over and he was rubbing his eyes not really wanting to be up so I brought him back upstairs for bed. He didn't initally fall asleep. I sat there pretending to be alseep after he was done eating and he was cooing. I wanted to see if he would fall asleep on his own. I guess it turned out to be a minor improvement because he did, but only after I was cuddled up next to him whispering in his ear. I love moments like that, totally undescribable moments. Best part of having a baby! :) I have moments like that with Ben too, but not so much lately since Aiden is good at interupting. The other night, we were just trying to get a little loving in, so we put Aiden in his bassinette that he no longer really fits into well. Well, he was sitting there cooing and playing with his feet while stopping occasionally to stare at Ben. Oh, and the spitting... it's hilarious... we just couldn't get ourselves to do anything because we just kept cracking up at the spitting! That's been his new thing this week, blowing spit. At least he's found something constructful to do with all his drool besides let it run down his face! hehe. Well, now I'm just sitting here waiting for Ben to get home, drinking a glass of wine. I did some dishes earlier, so he will be happy, just pots and pans and silverware left... I always save those for last.
