weeee it's time for another update. i know my readers are all way excited. all like.... two of them. haha no i know there's more, we're all livejournal stalkers at heart, arent we? oh wait... or is it just me? oh shit i just revealed something embarassing about myself on the internet! oh wait, i do that every single time i update here. hmmm i think i've had a few too many of those mixed drinks with vanilla vodka and white cranberry... i really think i should be a bartender, i'd be really good, i promise.

so yeah, i just got back from a staff party with people from my work. it was fun, we hung out, ate some bbq....mmm chicken burgers... there was a ton of alcohol, so we made some mixed drinks which was pretty fun. it was at this house in atherton thats absolutely massive and beautiful and even has a guest house with a foosball table and ping pong and other fun stuff and also has a pool and a hot tub. we played a fun drinking game in the hot tub that had something to do with making up names for yourself that involve the word "fuck". i wasnt very good at it. but i'll teach you all next time we get together!

camp this week was actually pretty awesome. i have a really great group of kids this session. i'm so happy with them and so proud of them. they seriously are really amazing kids, all of them. its times like these that make me really want to work with children for the rest of my life. but i dont want to be a teacher. what are some other jobs (preferrably well-paying) that involve working with children? ideas? do any of them involve getting a degree in economics? ahh only in a perfect world, i guess.

there was gladiator day on thursday at camp, and i dressed up as "aqua girl". i wore a swim parka, goggles, a blue tank top, and one of those wrap-around skirts that you get in mexico. it was hot. seriously, you should've seen me. oh and i spoke with a thick russian accent. i told kids that i swam all the way from russia to camp that morning across the atlantic ocean. then i realized that russia doesnt touch the atlantic ocean. damn, sometimes i dont know how i got into berkeley....

on friday our boss surprised us with milkshakes from coldstone's. omg it was like the highlight of my day. they were soooooooo goooooooodddddd....

oooh on wednesday night i got to hang out at borrone's with margo, charline, alia, and laurel! it was awesome! i love getting together with people and just talking and catching up. it needs to happen more often.

last night i went to a surprise party for my friend from dance class! it was soooo much fun. we finally got to hang all together again, and we always have such a blast when we party together. or just get together in general. she was so surprised too, it was great!

and today was a fantastic day as well. susan and i went to san francisco. we first went to the filmore district and got a bunch of awesome free stuff from a bath and body store called kiehls. i have so much cleansing shit now, it's great. i probably wont use like half of it because i just dont bother with that stuff, but it's pretty cool because it's all really expensive and i got it all for free. so i'm really proud of that..... then we went to north beach and had coffee and dessert at a cute italian coffee shop. it was so nice and european! i love the city.... ooh and then we drove to the golden gate bridge to video tape it for susan's project that she's doing, but then we got lost on the way back, which was a little intense. but we found our way back, so that was pretty genius of us.

anyway. now i'm home from this staff party....and pretty exhausted. time for bed...

oh i was supposed to go to berkeley tomorrow to move a couch but because of miscommunication issues, thats not happening. so i have a free day! yay! i might hit up the los altos arts and wine festival with susan because it definitely will be the place to be. or i might just chill out at home... who knows? oh, the options.

i've been in a good mood lately which is awesome. nothing especially exciting is happening, but i just feel good and find myself smiling a lot, which is a good thing. i wish there was something a little more exciting happening, but hey, this is not so bad. summer is great.

goodnight! love you all.
