so it's been a week since i've been home.
in this week i have had plenty of nice relaxation down-time. i read a book and started learning to play guitar (its definitely a work in progress... we'll see how it goes) i got to hang out with liza and meet all her friends which was cool, they seem like really nice guys and its nice to know that i'll often have a place to go and hang out and party this summer if i ever want to. i also got to spend time with some of my friends from dance class, which was just fantastic. i missed them soooooo much!! we all sat at TGIFridays for like 3 hours, just talking and laughing. i got to see alia (not that i dont see her all the time, haha... i never get enough of seeing alia! :) ) and shruti and christine and we hung out at stanford for a bit.... got to see dana and suzan and her friend kevin that's visiting.
i also managed to be sick and have a never-ending cough. i worked out every day and spent some time with the family and hung out with my grandma before she left for russia.
and now i'm going to china until june 10. it will be an interesting trip, i guess. honestly, i'm not all that excited simply because i am anticipating a never-ending entourage of middle-aged chinese relatives who are all really nice and sweet but also very very chaotic. they are a typical big family where everyone is in each other's business all the time, and because we're visiting, they'll all be there at the same time. also, it doesn't help that i don't speak any chinese, while none of them speak any english or russian. soooooo yeah....
but it's all good. i will see you all when i get back. camping is a must, and lots of random hanging out, and trips to berkeley to meet up, and random craziness, and summer-like activities. sky-diving, anyone? so, to whoever still reads this: have a wonderful couple of weeks, relish your summer time, and you better spend lots of time with me when i come back on june 10th.
peeeeeeeeeeace out. :)
