It's snowing thick and fast. My 25 page paper is due in 3 hours and a smidge and pbbbbt. We turned in first drafts and I basically want to leave it just as it was, but I think that won't go over well.
So in my dream last night, I woke up to see my housemates Josh and Jen outside my window, singing some annoying Christmas song like "Here Comes Santa Claus." I looked annoyed at them and they kept singing and gestured that they were singing to someone on a higher floor. Except there is no higher floor, just the roof. So I started wondering what kind of animal was on the roof that they were singing to.
Then, speaking of animals, something started bumping into my bed like my dog does when she wants to jump up, except it wasn't my dog, it was a beaver. And I was like "oh shit not a beaver" because apparently in my memory within the dream this had happened to someone else in the house earlier. So the beaver jumps up next to my pillow like my dog does and burrows down in the bed with me! The freaky thing is that in the dream I was so still asleep that I couldn't move my legs or arms or shout so that someone would help me. I had this terrifying moment of just being paralyzed. With a beaver in my bed!
I think I ended up eventually shouting and jumping out of the bed, but I was inordinately freaked out by the beaver and couldn't get it out of my room. I don't remember how that worked out, but I do think at some point all of us housemates started blaming each other for letting the beaver in to begin with.
OK I have to stop avoiding this paper now. Turn this in at 3, nap/go traying/build a snowman/something, then in theory start work on my Spanish paper. Write that tomorrow, Saturday, Sunday, turn it in Monday (when? midnight?), then into the city for interview on Tuesday (!! HIRE ME PLEASE!!) then driving home alllll day Wednesday.
Then writing thesis but don't remind me. :( :(
