Monday already...
The job hunt is on- I've been up forever. Already had a shower, went to apply at the drycleaner's, stopped for a paper (that nothing is in, of course), stopped by the office because my hallway toilette upstairs is clogged, then beat the bug-spray guy to the house by minutes. LOL
Now, I KNOW Lowe's and Home Depot are hiring because the lady that works at the gas station around the corner told me her daughter has an interview there tomorrow - but there is not one listing in the paper... lots of people should be hiring right now because of all the kids going back to school!
I've already applied at both of the above (last week). If I don't hear from them today, I'm gonna call them tomorrow - or maybe just go by there as I will have to be out running errands in that area anyway. I just REALLY REALLY hope I hear something from someone this week.
It looks like it's going to be October before my Diva can move in. *Pout*. I wish he could move in now. His company would be appreciated.... he's got a job already that will transfer him - he just has some stuff he has to deal with in Florence before he can come.
Regardless, I feel like progress is being made and I'm determined to remain optimistic about everything.
However, (and go figure) I woke up this morning feeling a little icky-ish. I know for a fact I have a fever, just not sure what the temp is because we don't have a thermomoter. AND, I know how I got this way... when I went with mom and heather to get their nails done yesterday - I guess the folks who own the place had like all six of their children there running around the place and every single one of them had snot running down their faces and coughing everywhere. Ugh. I SO cannot be sick right now and need to make some attempt to head this off now.
Off to do some online searching now and clean the house. The children left it a little messy but that's okay - it gives me something to do.
