You could never possibly know everything about someone, that's what keeps things interesting.

There was a land of Cavaliers and Cotton Fields called the Old South... Here in this pretty world Gallantry took its last bow... Here was the last ever to be seen of Knights and their Ladies Fair, of Master and of Slave... Look for it only in books, for it is no more than a dream remembered. A Civilization gone with the wind...

This weekend was draining, both physically and emotionally. But I am not going to go into the details of that right now. Over the past two days, I watched Gone With the Wind. It is a movie which I have seen many, many times over the course of my 21 years. It is in my opinion of the greatest movies ever made. The story, casting, color, everything makes it so. You can relate to any one character or you may relate to more than one. While watching this movie, I realized that I hold many similarities and characteristics of some of the character's. I share some of the same thoughts and ideas. But do not mistake me in saying that I glorify slavery, for that I do not share the same. It is other ideas and thoughts that I share with some of the characters. I found myself relating to them, not being so much different than some of them. The quote at the beginning of this post is from the first title card of the movie. For me, that quote somewhat summarizes parts of my life. There are parts of my life that are now only a dream remembered. Also, there are parts of my life that are gone with the wind. If you have not watched this movie, you need to. It's a touching story, and some may even say a life changing story. It's a hell of a movie, and I highly recommend it. That's all I got.

Later Kids, Bryant
