(no subject)
I have a tendency to do a mental review each day. The days have worn me out so much that I have trouble getting myslef to put the review to livejournal.
The rollercoaster continues. Work has been like a race car with no brakes. Really fast, really fun, but really manic. I didn't crash though. Did have to apologize for getting a bit bitchy this morning, but I saw it and called myself on it. Glad I made face right away.
Romance - ugh! Dates last night and tonight. Had fun both times. Cynthia and I had a very nice time, but then tnight I call her and she is drunk and being wierd again. I think she is wanting to get serious and I just don't see it with her. I hate that kind of confrontation but need to deal with it soonI could be a jerk and lie and say that her drunk calls are the cause but I wouldn't be able to do that and be honest with myself. (To thine own self be true.)
Anna's son Ray answered the door when I showed up with pizza. He heard me talking to his mom on the phone and got my name so he knew who I was. He is ten and was very polite and outgoing. Tried to be a show off and I think he is very jealous of attention his mom gives, so we kept it cool. Had pizza, chatted between Ray's antics, had a nice time.
My sister is due to pop. Getting excited but I want it over with. I am dreading going over there for the weekend. I would love it, but it turns into such an ordeal. Comes from my Mom. Oh well, I will deal with it.
Mike and Debbie asked me to help at the park this weekend!! Probably all day Saturday, but I might take Sunday to start getting the house ready for winter. Need to pull the carpet outta the truck into the basement, haul off the leftover garbage the previous owners left down there, haul off the bbq grill they left (broken), and weed eat the yard so iI can roto till before snow flies. Strange to be thinking about snow now, but with Cat Tales, My sister's kid and getting to see Eric and Jenn, gonna be a busy few weeks and before ya know it, will be getting chill.
I have to get together with Greg and see if he can scope the situation at Cat Tales for their network. I want it up and running by November. Cable is laid we just need a router and run jacks. Might have him help me haul the chain link fence ou there too. They can use it as roofing on some exhibits. They are going to trade me my 4' fence for 7'. Probably ask them to hold it until Spring. I need to get my patio cleaned and usable.
Well, the ramble has petered out. Time to relax a bit and crash. Feeling... odd....
