Random thoughts from tonight...
* It's nice seeing grandparents. Even better when you get to interview them for posterity on video.
* Now I see where Richard Powers gets the "West coast swing is danced by gray haired people" from. That said, there were a lot of people.
* Finding a Zipcar's parking spot for the first time is confusing.
* Trying to repark that Zipcar is even more confusing, especially when there's lots of road construction near its garage. Lost a half hour of time/reservation cost for that.
* People say "you never dance club two-step outside of the Richard Powers's classes". Not true, found it here in Chicago. (Of course, this was with the gray hairs...)
* May have found the equivalents to FNW (mayihavethisdance.com's TGIF dance party) and Jammix's (BLAST at Northwestern)
* Keep having "it's a small world" meetings at these places. Latest is a WCS/hustle instructor who went to my rival high school and was supposedly classmates with one dancer friend (although that friend denies it...)
