The only vocalist that has ever rivaled my love of Eddie Vedder is Mike Patton. The only band that has ever rivaled my love for Pearl jam was Faith No More. I never got to see them live before they split up and to know that they will be REUNITING for shows in Europe and not in the U.S. is killing me!
I'm trying to figure out how I can possibly afford a trip to Europe, and be brave enough to go it solo because there is no way I could get someone to make this trip with me. AAARRRRGH!
I mean, this is a band that not only wrote some of the best songs of the nineties... they could even take a Burt Bacharach song, perform it so over the top and in such an awesome way that if you go back and listen to the original after it, it just seems... old and boring.
Oh European FNM fans, how I will envy you all this summer. :(
