I have a couple of issues currently.
1) I'm having major issue with my Achilles tendon. It's been going on for a couple of weeks and only happens when I run. I stretch well before I run and REALLY well afterwards. I ice it and take ibuprofen for it. I also stretch on my off days either when I go to yoga or on my own. Is there something else I could be doing? I tried taking a break for about a week, but it's still giving me problems. Nothing major, just really tender like tendonitis while I'm physically running, but it doesn't hurt at all throughout the rest of my day. If there is something more I could/should be doing please let me know.
2) I'm hitting a wall. I think it might be a mental wall, but it might be a physical wall. I'm only running about 2 1/2 miles right now (I think...I don't really know because I don't have a way to clock it) and my time is crap and has been crap for a while. I can't seem to run further or faster and I'm beginning to get really frustrated. Any advice? I've been attempting to do some interval training, but that's going slowly and I'm kind of making up as I go along. I'm just tired of running a fucking 11-12 minute mile, it's old...I should be running faster than that at this point and I'm not entirely sure why I'm not. Please help....
