Haha I love the image. I need new sandals because well the winter is fading in Austin, FAST (yay!). It is time to retire the Tevas, they offer little arch support.

I'm looking at Keen's but I'd be nervous to order online without trying them on.

Definitely don't get Keens without trying them on. Their sizes vary wildly - I have four pairs of Keens in three different sizes. Chacos, luckily, are very consistently sized and have always (so far) been safe to order online.

Do you think I would be safe if I tried on a pair in a store and then bought them online (discounts ftw)? Are you saying that the same style can run in different sizes? or different styles = different sizes?

The different styles tend to vary in size. I imagine you'd be fine ordering online if you'd tried on the same style in the store.
