Reliving childhood is always fun...

So, Amanda and I have some weird obsession with LiteBrite (yes, I know, LiteBrite...that childrens toy that's been around since, well, since pretty much as long as I've been around...they still make them too, but the pegs are a little different and they have cooler "pictures" for you to do). It was one of my favorite toys as a child, and one time when Amanda and I were in her basement, I happened to spot a box, and what did that box have in it? Yep, a LiteBrite, and it still worked too!! (The box even had a strawberry scratch-n-sniff sticker on it that had to have been there for at least 15 years...and it still smelled!!) Our only dilema...there were only 3 or 4 pegs in the box (yet we still managed to play with those 4).

Time passed without any LiteBrite action, till one fateful date I found a box full of LiteBrite pegs in MY basement!! How perfect! She had the LiteBrite, I had the pegs....a kickass time could be had by all. Well, that brings us to tonight....we got out the LiteBrite, and had a merry time. And in proper reliving-childhood fashion, we put on some old school music...NKOTB (for those of you who aren't down with that, it's New Kids On The Block). Oh yeah, it was awful. LoL I don't know what anyone ever saw in them, cuz they really did suck. But it was still fun. And what LiteBrite adventure would be complete without pictures??

The Shaggy picture is a more recent addition to the LiteBrite family...it's circa 2000, and came with the other, newer LiteBrite that Amanda's mom got at a yard sale for us. And of course our initials were done freehand, cuz we're just awesome like that. Amanda obviously had a few problems with her last initial...B. Yes, it really is supposed to be a B. Bet you wouldn't have guessed that if I hadn't told you. :-)

I know, we are major weirdos. In fact, we both know it, and we embrace it. Why be normal?? We decided tonight that we need to have our own reality tv show...we can be quite entertaining, if for nothing else but how strange we are.

So, this entry was kind of pointless...I just had to show off my awesome LiteBrite pics. :-)
