i'm baaaack...
howdy,
...so it's been a full 7 months since i've updated this thing...figured i'd throw a little bone to the livejournal gods...
...august: let's see...summer ended and school started and things were up and down and all around the world for a little while...it was hard going back to school and not hanging out with benny but in the end we all took a shot for him and sort of dedicated all the good times to him...RA training was fun...different than last year, but still a good time...and then we settled into classes (and our staff settled into the beautiful new building that is dablon this year)...
...september: hanging out at school and getting into the swing of classes and such...and figuring out a few other things...but once everything settled down, it was smooth sailing...
...october: pretty uninteresting, except for getting egged on halloween (thanks justin :-P)...but we had a great time and classes went on without much of a hitch...
...november: had an amazing thanksgiving...at grandma mason's, then at home, the justins...ate way too much, but enjoyed it a lot...it was great...
...december: what a year...my first 1 year anniversary...and it was very nice...and christmas...so much fun...christmas eve at grandma's as always...dinner at grandma's (cause we had no kitchen table) on christmas and then up to justin's for dinner again :-)...i love christmastime...it's so happy...started break and moved home for 2 weeks...
...january: yes, that's right...home for only 2 weeks instead of a month...new year's at justine's was lots of fun and then on the 4th it was off to COSTA RICA!!! that's right kids...a 2 week long study abroad program to visit volcanoes in Costa Rica...it was absolutely amazing...got to experience waterfalls, volcanoes, hot springs, zip lines, aerial tram, and so much more - including an incredibly amazing culture and some really great memories...all with justin there with me...so many amazing memories that will always be a part of me...and then 2 days of RA training and classes started...
...february...god I hate Wen Ma - literacy professor that i got stuck with...and that's all i'm going to rant about on that for now...he's an idiot and shouldn't be teaching students how to teach...classes are coming along, and things are about to get BUSY...2 major papers (30ish pages each) and a bunch of other projects...it's going to be crunch time soon...i'm on break for a week which is nice due to the lack of classes...but sucks due to the fact that i have to be home...but a month and a half and i'll be 21! with 5 days with no class for my birthday (or for Easter...but who's counting :-P)...
...so that's been my life in a nutshell...maybe i'll update a little more often...maybe i won't...who knows...but for now - that's what I've got for you all...hope you've enjoyed your visit...
