Months, and months ago, I came home from work and caught what I thought was the very tail end of a cross over episode between USA Network's 'Monk' and Psych. Not knowing what I missed, I asked my sister what was up. She informed me that I missed the second part of a two part crossover between the two shows. The first was on Monk, the second was on Psych. There was a policemen's ball and Monk's detective (forget his name) and Lassider were getting awards, that's why they were both there. And of course there was a murder, and Monk was able to tell Shawn wasn't Psychic. Shawn protected his identity by going around and fucking up the food arrangements and decor, sending Monk frantically after him, fixing everyhing.
I thought this was awesome and applauded USA for doing such a thing. Even though I was bummed I missed it, I figured it'd be on again and I'd catch it then. Time goes on and I forget about the whole thing.
A couple days ago, I'm in the car with feffu_cat and for whatever reason I remember the episode and I tell her about it. Interested in it, as she should be, she goes to look up what she can on it. She can't find a single thing. No credits, no episode list with it, nothing.
Now. How does that make me look?
I know what little I saw, and Megatha gave me a really detailed account. But if I've been had, so beit. Touche to her. Even so, though, I know I saw Tony Shaloub and James Roday on my screen at the same time. It might've been a commercial, some kind of promo. For what little I caught, they were seemingly in character.
Help me out here guys, I'm sure someone on my FList watches at least one of the shows. You've seen the commercial or whatever right? I'm not crazy, and this would be such a stupid thing to make up.
