ROLL

As a late Christmas/Birthday present, my parents agreed to have a poster I designed printed for me. This is an especially big deal because the poster in question is 6 feet tall and 4 1/2 feet wide. Well, I finally got the finished product yesterday, and it came out about a million times better than I had ever hoped. It's the King of All Cosmos from Katamari Damacy. If ever a character deserved a poster of such gargantuan propotions, it's him.

Earlier in the year, before I'd planned of getting an actual print made, I just used the good ol' rasterbator tool to blow it up and print it out, and put that up on my wall. here's what that looked like:

On the whole, kind of disappointing, especially color-wise.

But here, in all his glory, is the new face of the King:

I just couldn't believe how great it looked once it was finally up on the wall. I've seriously just been hanging out in the middle room looking at it. And the poster itself is printed on vinyl, so it's good for eternity.

God, I love this thing. The only thing that could possibly make it better was if it was lit from behind like a movie poster.
