(no subject)
This weekend has been rather disappointing. Animeland Wasabi has been a pretty big drag, hardly an art buying crowd. Though I was very lucky to in the Dealer's Den with my friends who were guests of the con. The Artist Alley set up was HORRIBLE. In a small crowded hallway where pretty much if one person stopped everyone does. And it ended in a deadend so then you have to wind your way back. Also I had alot of crud with me so it's very nice not having to clean up each night and then set up each day. There's still tomorrow and I'm hoping the last Sunday rush will be decent. Not lowering my prices as usual though. I'd rather save it for Sakuracon. I'll likely make a ton more bookmarks since that's 75% of my sales and maybe reprint a dozen prints max but that's it. There's been some interest in the pendants so that's not too bad..
My proof book for my sketchbook came in today too. I.. was not pleased. Cover was way too dark, but that's a general problem I tend to have. Don't mind fixing that, but I feel the page qualities aren't so great. My lines look pretty cruddy, especially the smooth digital stuff I have. I think that might be partially my own fault for having the page sizes slightly wrong, so I changed that slightly. I don't really feel like I was that off..but who knows how badly things might be if lulu needs to resize even by a little. I'm really nervous to order my real batch now, but if I want it by Sakuracon I'll have to x.x Even as is, if I can lighten the cover I can.. stand it. Of course, Neo said she has problems with full bleed and how Lulu tends to have a white line uptop. Man does that erk me =/ So I'm really keeping my fingers crossed.
[edit] And now.. I've ordered my books and had them shipped to myself and not Andrea. FRICKING DAMNIT. I'm such a screwup.. [/edit]
