Yes, I know it's been a while, but with limited internet access, it can be difficult to post entries. I always get there in the end, though! Well, tons has happened since Tunisia! I will be on the move (yet again!) at the end of the month! This time I will be moving in with friends for a month or so in London. I did have a few weeks of worry and sleepless nights recently thinking I may be 'homeless' for the second time in less than a year! I'm getting so fed up living on my own in a rough part of Luton. A couple of people offered me their spare room. As 2 people offered, I handed my notice in at the letting agency. Two weeks later, one person said I could move in in June or July and the second changed her mind completely. Not sure what happened as she was so enthusiastic about it! That sort of landed me with a bit of a dilemma. I did try to get the room back, but the agency had already found a replacement. Now the plan is to move to London the last week of May and possibly move to Hatfield in June or July or (something I've been thinking about over the last day or so), maybe find somewhere more permanent in London for the time being. I'm sort of at the point of realising that I won't be able to do year 2 of my course, unless I want to continue to be in poverty. I'd easily be able to get a good job (in an area that probably won't be what I particularly want to do, but hey at least I have dreams, so it won't be forever!) with my qualifications and experience. I could continue the art and design course as an evening class. I really do think that a quality of life that I was used to before I moved to Luton will perk me up and I'll feel a lot better about myself and the world. Luton does have a very good clubnight and I probably will come back for that (take note Nephilimbabe!!), but other than that, I just want to see the back of Luton and maybe this 'temporary' move to London could lead to a more permanent move. Maybe I should be using this as an opportunity to wave Beds and Herts goodbye as the only reason why I moved to these parts is because the ex husband lived in Stevenage when I met him. So here's to a positive future! Must go as the library will log me off in 4 minutes!
