I am going a little nuts this weekend as we were almost evicted due to a former roommates cat pissing in the back closet for a month. The damn animal destroyed the carpet, padding and sub flooring we had to remove everything down to the cement and scrub it for an hour. We now have to pay to replace all this at our expense which we cant afford. The sad thing is that her room stank so badly when she left we didn't even notice the smell of cat urine we just opened the window and closed the door to keep the stench from spreading. In the last three weeks apparently we have become numb to the smell so when our manager came in a gagged and gave us a health and safety violation we went off to explore where the smell could be. The worst thing about this is that she lied to my face about it when she moved out saying that it was just water and that it had been there before she moved in. Meh I hate liars. We were her safety net she was ALWAYS welcome here but never again we ,my husband and I, come to realize that she is not worth our friendship. It is too hard to be her friend, she MAKES it hard to be her friend. Well pray for us if we cant cut down on the smell we will be evicted on the 27.
