1. Facts about my birthday (yesterday): I will always be younger (and poorer) than Jorge Posada.

   femslash11 is a go! It is the only non-Yuletide fest in which I participate, so you know I dig it. The list is here. I wrote a story called A Problem of Geodynamics and it is A:tLA, Toph/Katara, with asexuality and bondage in a PG-13 kinda way.
   
   
3. So it turns out that Haven? Totally in my wheelhouse.
   
   
4. In honor of the aforementioned birthday, I am writing myself the post-series Snape/Narcissa/Lucius "only partly dead" fic of my soul, full of dubious magical theory, books, wine, and waspishness. Whether or not I finish, or edit, or let it out into the world at all, I am enjoying it for my own sake. Or something.
   
   
5. Also in my wheelhouse? Roasted sweet potatoes (with garlic, red pepper flakes, chipotle, cumin, and cinnamon in random quantities) and spinach mixed with salsa verde and served over a couple of warm corn tortillas (with delicious cheddar cheese, om nom nom). Just to say.
