In the past, I've always done that [winter-in-the-northern-hemisphere/summer-in-the-southern holiday-type event] wishlist meme, but this year I realized that all I want is for the following random fic to magically appear (so I don't have to try & fail to write it): 1. Tim Gunn gets a happily ever after (with anyone, pretty much, though I have a weird soft spot for Tim Gunn/Christian Siriano & Tim Gunn/Anderson Cooper, IDK); 2. kind of epic, emotionally truthful, Spock/Uhura/Kirk with tangledness and working through hard things and the fact that Spock? is a fucking half-Vulcan, half-Human, special snowflake actually meaning something (and something other than, "oooh, Pon Farr") and Kirk being fucked up and Uhura being a perfectionist and did I mention epic?; 3. new (long) CJ/Toby of awesomeness and her long legs and his face and yes.
(I would also like: a Whip It bootleg, house elves, a book on Dominican folklore, a cat, & tickets to the Winter Classic. In no particular order. Oh, and for MCR to release their album and come to Boston because I heart their fucking faces.)
In conclusion, it is very hard to leave for work when shots ring out into the crowd and it's the season one cliffhanger all over again. Remember all the fic that came out of that? All the Sam Seaborn's been shot and Leo McGarry's been shot and the President's in a coma? Those were the times. (Soon, the gang will be sitting on Josh's stoop, drinking beer.)
