I never know how to start writing entries. What a bugger. Um.
I got my exam results today! I was really worried that my two jobs last semester were going to have a negative impact on my marks... but it turned out alright in the end. "High Distinction"s are equivalents of As, and "Distinctions" of Bs, roughly, I think.
Computer Networks 80 High Distinction
Knowledge-Based Systems 77 Distinction
Philosophy of Science 76 Distinction
Barbarian Kingdoms 73 Distinction
Networks was quite suprising. I totally thought I'd do better in Knowledge-Based Systems than Networks, especially since my internal marks for Networks were so much lower. I knew next to nothing about networks at the start of the year, too.
Anyway, I finished exams three weeks ago. I've been thoroughly enjoying the holidays. Man, it's great to have time to do graphics and things again. I've been getting stuck into my PPTTG entries, and also redesigning my krumpit website. Fun fun. Oh, I suppose I should post some stuff. It's been a while since I've done that :)
Red Panda "From a Photo" Set
We had to make av and sig sets using a photo for the last round of PPTTG. I played around with various colouring effects and filters to get the panda all poster-ised looking. I'm really going for a 'clean' look to my graphics at the moment. Hence the slightly boring gradient background. And yeah, the sig wasn't very inspired... I'm not heaps keen on sigs right now, I think! I prefer to not to have them ;)

I was playing round with my graphics tablet a while ago and thought I'd try drawing a lynx... He's not heaps anatomically/animally accurate, but *shrugs* :) Still can't work out that back paw though, dangit! *pokes the silly thing*
So there ya go... about half of my graphics work for the past few months in one post! I also finally finished a vector-drawn wallpaper that I've been making for Jase for the last six months... I'll post that in my next entry. Oh, I've also drew a vector-ish purple red panda too (and you thought you'd seen the last of those red pandas, eh! Muahahaa...)
Oh, and in related news, I might might possibly be getting a web designing job! Part-time-ish for a proper company and everything! It's rather exciting, since it has been my dream job for years now... but it's also scary, since it means I want to do my best, and not stuff it up. Meep.
It also means I might have to give up my job at the Computing Help Desk. That would really suck since it's such a good job - good pay, lovely people, and I could do my assignments while I was working. *hmms* I don't think I could cope with three jobs, though. Poo. I'll have to see what happens :)
