The Chef just called me about 10 minutes ago with the following story:
Seems he was doing whatever downstairs, and Pollux was meowing for attention. So he goes & gets Pollux, takes him to the couch, and starts giving him tail scritches. Pollux, as he usually does, starts rubbing his cheeks and chin on whatever, enjoying the attention. Then Pilsner comes over, and puts his head on the couch.
Normally, this would be Pollux's cue to growl, hiss, and run.
Nope.
HE RUBBED HIS FACE ON PILSNER'S NOSE!!!
I could NOT believe it when the Chef told me! It's amazing! We're doing good when he'll quietly hide under a blanket in Pilsner's presence!
And, to top it off, I called him back about 10 minutes later, and Pollux was STILL there, not under a blanket, and Pilsner was lying on the floor in front of the both of them!
OMFG!!! I can't believe it!
