such a long day
woke up at about six - showered, had breakfast and was off to the percussion competition. Its a longer drive to go there than it is to pick heather up! But on the good side, we had a pretty good show. We got the second highest score out of all the percussion ensembles that performed and we were only off by three tenths of a point! we were the only ones in our division so that didn't count a whole lot. And then we waited there for another four or so hours before watching the umass marimba show which kicked so much ass. there were two different groups that performed from umass and the second one played only pieces that the members of the group had written - it was amazing! So then after that, another really long bus ride and then basically i got home. It was a long day, but a fun one.
