I have gone to two festivals in the past couple of months. The first being Good Vibrations and honestly, it was the best fun I've ever ever had! Pictures to come by the way.
Good vibes was at centennial park and all my fave house artists played. I was to the right of the stage, up front under the big screen during sneaky sound system and they totally rocked!!!
Snoop dog went off and even came out with some of his old and much loed stuff. I ahven't listened to him in years but he was a fave of mine when I was a teen.
On Saturday I went to the future music festival!
It rained all day but we were so busy dancing we didn't care.It actually made it better because instead of being sweaty and sticky all day, we'd get rained on and it would wash it all away. We listened to Felix da housecat and I even rang up Andrew during his set to have a listen. He rocked!
Peta and I at Felix da housecat.
We went over and listened to "The egg" live and it's just so surreal listening to them and seeing them play. The music comes out but it doesn't look like thats what it would sound like. They are an electronic band so they play the guitar, drums and bass but the sound is electric, like techno. How do they make instruments make that sound?
We hit the foam pit later. We'd planned on playing in it earlier in the day but this chick crawled out of it and was complaining about how sticky she was so we held off and hit when it was raining so we'd get rinsed off.
Last but not least, we stayed and watched Carl cox. He is effing awesome! He interracts with the audience and makes the whole experience so much more fun.
Peta and I after many hours of non-stop dancing. Don't mind the sweat.
Anyway party people, that's it. :)
