Me, I've been preparing to flee since I was 15. My RealID drivers license and my passport are up to date. I have an overnight "go bag" always packed. I periodically go through in my mind what I could fit into my regularly gassed-up car if I had to leave quickly. I've done this for years only partly because of natural disasters - fire, flood, earthquake. And I'm doing it even more since last month. I care about "all the other others." And I care about me. Rights of association, health care and movement, among others, already have been stripped from the unwillingly pregnant, and from the queer. It's painfully obvious whom they'll come for next.
