"The Last Unicorn" (the original animated one) is coming out on DVD March 16th. I'm so fucking excited. It's probably my favorite movie from childhood, and I haven't seen in in years. !!!

Adrienne has mono. :( Part of me wishes she'd pass it on, because I am sososo sick of doing work. But then, you know, it's mono, which is very very bad...

And Adrienne and I made up a rating community the other night when we were bored, based on Slytherin. green_elite It's basically us playing our roles from Lumos Solem, pretending to be cool. But it's awesome, you bet.

I was really tired about three hours ago, but instead of just going to sleep, I decided to read. And now it's 3:30, and I'm wide awake. The past two nights Adrienne and I were up until after 6:00 watching "West Wing," and I have seen way too many sunrises over the past few weeks, so why I didn't take advantage of actually wanting to go to sleep at a reasonable hour I don't know. I thought this was the time of day when your body is at its lowest point, when everything slows down. So why do I always feel most alert between 3 and 5 in the morning? I wish I could at least use this time to do work. But it's weird--my mind is wide awake, thoughts racing, but I can't seem to so anything with it--I just want to lie in bed, staring at the ceiling, thinking. It's frustrating. I keep having ideas for things to write, both academic and recreational, but when I sit at the computer, those thoughts refuse to translate into anything solid--my fingers are clumsy, and what ends up on the screen is nothing like what was in my head. I can barely even write this--my mind keeps going off in a billion different directions. I need some sort of machine that takes my thoughts directly out of my brain and records them. I write excellent stories in my head.
