A/N : hello people! my highschool graduation will be on the 26th :D and I guess I can say that im really back :D
Sorry if it was angst.. I was listening to Brian McKnight's Marry your daughter to be honest.. and IDK. ahaha :D

it was always been like this.. for years now..
they grew up as friends.. they tend to be so close that people asked if they were dating or not.. both of them always answered "no. were just bestfriends"
but for Jinki. Gwiboon was different. more than just his bestfriend but will never be his.. because Gwiboon is the most perfect girl for him.
Gwiboon knows him.. whenever he's happy or sad. or simply being just a nerd he is. at the same time, he knows Gwiboon too. whenever she feels like partying or just spending quality time with him cooking cookies and watching chickflicks at his room..
his parents wants Gwiboon for him ofcourse, who woudnt? Gwiboon is like a daughter to them.. even his younger sister wants her too..
but Jinki never had the courage to ask her out.. even to say his feelings..
because Jinki was scared.. he was scared to be rejected by the girl that he loves all this years..
he rather express his feelings in front of harry potter books. head bowed as Gwiboon pinched him on the shoulder
"oppa! lets go for an ice cream?"
"I cant Gwi-" Jinki was not able to say another excuse as Gwiboon pulled him.
it turned out to be that Gwiboon doesnt want an ice cream. they were sitting at the park when Gwiboon pulled something from her bag..
"Jinki.. Im going to New York this fall"
Jinki was shocked.. he knew Gwiboon wants to be a dancer.. but not this thing
"Why?"
"I got a scholarship."
"Will you be back?" Jinki asked
"Will you miss me?"
A heavy silence followed.
"Ofcourse.. you.. youre my bestfriend."
"to be honest Jinki.. ill be leaving the day after tomorrow.."
Jinki smiled sadly and held Gwiboons hand.
"Ill be missing your smiles.. the way you make me laugh whenever I feel sad.. the chickflicks movies we shared on my room.. those nights we eat tons and tons of ice cream instead of studying.. I'll miss everything.."
Gwiboon smiled.. as she kissed Jinki's cheecks
"I'll miss you too.. the only boy who knew me.. the only boy who touched my heart.."
they departed that night..
that was the last night Jinki was able to see Gwiboon..
years later.. Gwiboon was back. and Jinki was married..
Gwiboon was able to attend to Jinki's wedding ofcourse..
she was happy to see Jinki smiling like that.. so sweet. so happy.
and it torns her heart that it was not her who was holding Jinki's hand..
she was not the one who promised to spend her life with Jinki forever..
but they chose this.. they chose to endure the pain.
as Jinki saw her. he smiled sadly.. and tears fell from her eyes
because they know deep inside.. they were still inlove with each other.. just like years ago..
