2015 Reading Challenge (Progress: 31/50)

Dec 31, 2015 23:59

For Christmas, I got a Kindle (aka a e-reader) and it seems like, since it's easier to find room for it in my bag every morning than for an actual book, I read more books in 3 weeks than in the past three months. So I decided to to a reading challenge for 2015. I am not sure whether I'll be able to read all those different types of books, but I'll ( Read more... )

A new book as reward?
This challenge sounds amazing and pretty motivating. I think I could try too, well...a book taking place in my hometown sounds difficult to find (If you were born in Paris or Tokyo or even New York is easy but in my case...an historical document about WWII perhaps >.>)
I was really wondering if I should buy a kindle too lately. Is it really better than a digital tablet?

A new book is a weekly reward for me haha 8D I'll probably go for some expensive pastries somewhere famous in Paris \o/

Some of the books in the list seem difficult to find for me too, but I'll try to find one for each category. Where is your hometown?

A Kindle is nice. I don't have a tablet (my sister does) and the good thing with an e-reader is that the light is made so that it looks like a real book, it really does not hurt the eyes and it's really comfortable. But it's just for reading books, no movie or game on it :) Depends on what you want to do with it. If it's just for reading books, I think it's better than a tablet :)

Buy some delicious cake at 'Aki', I'm particularly fond of their Mont-blanc *yummy*
I was born in Caen, so the historical doc are numerous but if I look for a novel...
I already have some ideas about this list but can I really find a book written by an author with my initials?!
Apart this, it sounds totally doable.
Yes, it would be for reading only, my main problem is that I have to straddle stacks of books to climb on my bed and the walls of my house are already covered by shelves. I guess a kindle would be more convenient.

Toute ma famille est de Caen !!! \o/
