落ちづけ、ロメオ!

This time I started to rewatch Hanazakari no kimitachi e also known as Hana kimi. I haven't watched it in ages like after summer/autumn 2007. When it came out I was a little disappointed as I had just read the manga to which it's based on previous Christmas holidays of mine and loved it. As a matter of course, it couldn't follow events of 23 volumes of manga diligently, I understand that but many of great events (some of my favourites too) were left out or modified, it's the thing that disappointed me the most. Well let's end this discussion now. The actors portray their characters very well and the series is so hilarious to that extent that I didn't even remembered. It's rather wacky! (≧▽≦)

Be careful, I'm telling QUITE a bit about the story now! Ashiya Mizuki (Horikita Maki) is the girl who is going disguise as a boy to go same all-boys high school Ôsaka Gakuen (桜咲学園) as her high jump idol Sano Izumi (Oguri Shun). She's convinced that she's the reason he cannot jump anymore as Sano rescued her from burglars and got injured at the same time. She wants him to start jumping again, that's why "all the mess" as she can't tell anyone. I think it was my first encounter with Horikita (of course, when I watched it first time) and thought she was a little bland compared to manga Mizuki.. wasn't that convinced and well, Oguri still was my Hanazawa Rui from Hana yori dango. Also manga Sano is quite a brick at first but.. phew. NOW the both of them are growing in me in those roles.

(The trio: from the left, Nakatsu, Ashiya & Sano.)

Nakatsu Shûichi (Ikuta Toma) is a bouncy soccer player and quite short tempered at times but never having ill intentions. At first I wasn't sure about his portrayal of Nakatsu but he won me over quite soon, I would say. During the story he becomes soon unsure about his feelings for Mizuki as he becomes to keen on her at some aspect. He has to question himself what he thinks about it as Mizuki is a boy or so he thinks so quite a very end of story.

There were characters I liked since the beginning. I just totally loved Nanba Minami played by Mizushima Hiro as I have loved the character as well. The character is flirty play boy but with a heart~ The other dorm heads, dorm 1 and 3, respectively Tennôji Megumi (Ishigaki Yuma) and Oscar M. Himejima (Kyo Nobuo) don't let me down either. Ahaha!

(It's Nanba!)

I like Nakao Senri (aka Nanba's fanboy, Kimura Ryô), Kayashima Taiki (aka the aura boy, Yamamoto Yûsuke) and Sekime Kyôgo (aka Sano's friend in Field & Track team, Okada Masaki) even they seemed not get enough screen time when I was watching for the first time but now I noticed that they are almost everywhere doing something dumb together. It makes even funnier that I now know that they have also acted together after Hana kimi: Okada and Kimura in Otomen (*squee* I liked it very much) and Yamamoto and Kimura in Puzzle (2008) though I haven't watched it yet. I'm just wondering how fun it would have been in backstage.

(Nakao.)

(Kayashima.)

Sorry couldn't find any gifs of Sekime!! If I find one later, I will update.

Then there is Hanayashiki Hibari and her Hibari Four troupe consisting four girls from St. Blossoms, the sister school of Ôsaka Gakuen. At first they are probably getting in your nerves but later, at least for me they became such a comical fabulous five. Lol.

Ohhoh, this entry ended up being such a Hana kimi babble, sorry. m(_ _)m No memes this time, it took already enough time to type this one even it was so much fun! Now shower and more Hana kimi rewatching! (。◕‿◕。)
