Hahaha okay so this year we all went to PGA again with free tickets (woot!)..I had to drive there and silly Robert didn't know how to get there so he followed me and then complained that I was driving too slowly.. so we got there by 10:07ish, and my dad and I missed the drop off parking place so Robert and I got separated. Which resulted in the next like 20 minutes trying to figure out where the other was because Amy didn't show up with the parking passes yet. In the end I walked from where my dad dropped me off to the entrance of the place, back into the huuuge parking lot, back toward the entrance, back to the parking lot in a different direction, until I saw Robert (this guy has the worst directional instructions ever. eVERR. Something about black fences, sidewalks that didn't exist, and a four-story concrete building that really only had three stories <3.) Anyway, then we went and fried in his car for 30-40 minutes because Amy and Mike were naughty and didn't leave on time :P. Baha, so Amy claimed her car's engine died and on the freeway the entire car suddenly started vibrating quite violently... sooo Mike ended up driving the both of them to PGA in his mom's car without his license.. anyway we were doing all this technical theorizing about what happened to her car, until we got back to Mike's place and ever perceptive Robert, now the official car expert, saw that her tire was flat :PP.
WELL then. Lots of people at PGA and horrendously long lines. It was so unbearably hot today and poor Amy had bouts of motion sickness.. so by the time it was like 12 we had gone on Top Gun 2 times and Orbit once... the line for Top Gun was insane. The first time we lined up in the back, and for some reason it was really empty after our ride because everyone wanted to be in the front, so we snuck back on x3. Orbit actually wasn't so bad this time.. The first time I got on it I was pretty freaked out...(plus Eric ended up leaning on me in the middle of the ride last time, which gave rise to the 999,999 different scenarios in which I would meet my death because of a little more compartment rocking.) Haha, aiiya.. I honestly think Robert got more amusement from watching me hold on to dear life on some of the rides than from the actual rides. Rides really aren't as scary as I envisioned them to be the first time, but even so I'd kinda forgotten what it was like on rides like Top Gun. So really... you'd think the silly boy could come up with something more encouraging before our turn on Top Gun than "Did I tell you this ride is built on a swamp? It sinks a bit every year." Haha mm.. I think my rollercoaster tolerance is much better than before at least.
Anywayyy.. then it was lunch. Last year when we came with the free tickets, lunch was at the Picnic Grove, but this time it was at the Pavillion. Which really might have been helpful before we marched on over to the Picnic Grove. And... the two places are on polar opposites of the entire amusement park. Which really, really sucks. The DeltaFlyer thing had this enormous line so we decided to walk.. and by the time we got there the people at the door told us we had 10 minutes left. The tables inside were kinda sticky though (which was really gross) but otherwise it was all right. Mike forked this huge puffy bun and shoved the entire thing in his mouth, but hey, what else is new, right? :DD Afterwards it was still really hot so we took ice and threw it down each other's shirts xDD
BEHOLD THE GIANT BUN. IT LOOKED BIGGER THEN, OKAY?
Mm, after that we walked around aimlessly and we went to the arcade and went on one of the water rides. Ohh, we also went on the bumper car one.. That's always fun. It seems much shorter than I remember, though. Then we went around to some random gift shop places and went on a hat rage :P
AHH I'M PILED UP WITH HATS!
pirate captain robert :D
princess amy
yay for halo things.. we shoulda grabbed those wand things (then we coulda been pixies bahaha)
Anyway, we were so dehydrated by then, though, but we were all stingy enough to walk away from the $3 sodas in the vending machines (shakes fist). For some reason icee vendors are never around when we need it! GRAH! We dragged ourselves toward shade and Mike gave in to an iced tea (and we all ended up mooching off him :D) and we all decided to just hit the road and go back to Mike's house (= AC AND ICE CREAM!).
On the way back, I ended up falling asleep and Robert got lost so it probably took us 40+ mins to get to Mike's house >DD. We pigged out on a gallon of ice cream (okay, we really only had a cupful each though. And when I say each, I really mean just me and Amy. -_________-.) We lamented about Mike's beautiful but dusty grand piano (yay for yamaha) and watched Phantom of the Opera. WHICH WAS SO DISAPPOINTING. I was very bitter. Very bitter. KILLY YOU LIAR THE PHANTOM WAS NOT HOT, RAOUL WAS NOT HOT, THE VOICES WERE NOT HOT. Michael Crawford's voice pwns all. I did like the beginning where the black and white scene turned into the colors of the past though. That was pretty much it though.. and the grammar correction about the "and what is it that I meant to have wrote?" (Am I the only one that found that 2 second break hilarious?) Anyway, we goofed around, Amy unleashed her Sudden Death on Mike for sneaking off to the confines of his room for Prince of Persia ><. Random stuff, kinda lazy to describe all the little nonsensical things we did (aka made Mike do) soooo. a couple more pictures just for the heck of it.
Amy the Cucoon, with Mike off at the sides attacking with his giant clip
Oolala *sizzle*
OKAY BYE I'M DONE BECAUSE I'M TOO LAZY AT THIS POINT TO DO ANYTHING MORE IT WAS A GOOD DAY THAT IS ALL
