Can't believe I'm so late in reading this illuminating, and soooo shared screed of feelings that Drew McWeeny (formerly AICN's Moriarty), and the plight of the modern geek movie climate. Sorry to say, Japan has a strong competitor in the overgrown child contest. Progress must be done, and the future geeks of the world deserve more than this.
