Procrastination kills
00. my 16 degrees room
As per title says, mayu has learnt a good lesson.
currently, mayu is huddling in front of her 弄玉 which is the warmest thing in the room besides mayu.
And mayu is wearing two layers of thick, long sleeved clothes, a pair of thick fluffy socks from taipei, and wrapped around her is her warm cashmere blankie from somewhere in US that dad brought back for miya.
have you guessed it?
暖房 spoilt.

the symptoms;
after working for about twenty minutes, it would stop working and show a E-05 message.
(mayu is guessing that the E means error).
twenty minutes may sound long enough. but actually, the heater takes 5 minutes to warm up, so that leaves only 15 minutes of working time. And as the week passed, the heat emitted by the heater has been grown weaker.
oh, did mayu not mention?
it was spoilt since a week ago actually.... just that mayu has been procrastinating and not telling the 管理員さん about it.
honestly, mayu had thought that winter was over, because it had been growing warmer for the whole of last week.
Almost all the snow and ice had melted, and on Monday, Nikki even managed to cycle over to mayu's dorm safely.
but of course, mayu always finds herself cheated by the blue cloudless skies of horobetsu.
since Tuesday, the snow started falling, and falling, and falling until now.
For the whole of today, it was a snow storm outside.
naturally, the temperature fell from a comfortable 2 degrees to a freezing negative degree again.
And hence the freezing temperate in mayu's room.
hopefully, the 管理員さん will be able to get the repairman to come tomorrow evening.
01. Still Android-ing
Today's Java lesson revolved around learning how to create rectangles, lines, paths etc on the canvas(view), as well as loading an image onto the canvas~ XD
sadly, mayu still hasn't figured out how to move the image around.
once mayu figures that out, mayu can start making animations for android liao!!! XD
but still, there would be a long time to come...
because mayu haven't even actually figured out how to combines the two classes- the main class and the view class for android into one file yet. >_<
shall ganbarimasu tmr morning (no lessons tmr in the morning~).
Both mayu's game creator course teacher and Izam (current Iphone game creator) suggested that mayu go get both Iphone and android.
You both think mayu's dad print money one ah? =_=|||
but just as mayu had pointed out today to her teacher, her dad and twin are using Iphones while her mom is using an Android.
So it doesn't matter whichever mayu buys since she has access to both consoles!!! (yayness to mayu's very techno-advanced family XD)
mayu really wish she can create something, a game, or an anime, anything, that would send money rolling into mayu's bank account while she sits shaking her leg and 宅ing/腐ing at home, or go around traveling the world with her family and dog.
But then again, workaholic mayu will be bored out of her mind.
Oh well, for now, mayu should just start planning what kind of game to make. XD

orchestra music lovers like mayu will love this album!
After listening to the boring midi music from the game, the orchestra music is a wonderful change.
Of all the songs, mayu surprised herself by liking the 6th track 大江戸戦士トノサマン the most.
It might be because, with its drums and flute, it has a very neo-Japanese feel which reminds mayu of YOSAKOI music.
YOSAKOI ahhhhhhhh. TwT
the very thought of the Yosakoi ソーラン makes mayu want to stay in Hokkaido one more year...
but what is past is past. At least mayu has been lucky enough to experience it twice in her life. ^^
03. 犹记多情同人图
没想到着真的给我做出来了。
虽然其实还是未完成的...
这两年真的....不是白活的了。TwT
because this project was due today, mayu 無理やり copied the lantern, the doors, windows and drawings from her previous work - 天下第一阁 and pasted them onto this project, 適当にdid some lighting, rendered a 2000x3000 targa file and submitted it. (because my lousy pc crashed when i tried to render A4 size =_=)
of course, this is not the end of this project.
Although mayu has submitted it, she will still continue doing it until next Thursday since the lab is still open and free for all to use.
things to do:
◆continue rigging qi- mayu hasn't finished rigging him actually. :p
◆redo lighting - the 5-minute lighting currently sucks totally
◆model food for the plates - they are eating air!!
◆edit textures for environment
◆model the bed!!!! - that's where the action takes place. XD
sadly, mayu doubt she will have time to actually make the animation.
so mayu will just have to pray that the maya software that mayu managed to get will be able to work on the computer that mayu intends to get when she goes home.
04. SAIの練習
before miya complains that i don't draw as much again:
this was actually drawn about 2 weeks ago, just before mayu started playing gyakuten kenji.
it was actually just for mayu to practice drawing on SAI, and to practice for free-lance drawing book covers and illustrations for 威向耽美小说, which is still mayu's dream.
this is only part of the entire canvas, because as stated, this is incomplete.
because mayu is still working on the lips.
Shadows have not been completed also.
And the background is completely untouched.
