Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!
Two things:
1) I am crazy excited for the latest (last?) Indiana Jones movie. It's due on Memorial Day weekend in 2008, and I couldn't think of a better birthday present. I came out of the first movie in a state of absolute, gibbering euphoria, and I think that there's a part of me that never came down from it. Go, Indy!
2) I had a good night's sleep last night for the first time in longer than I can remember. Huzzah! Hurrah! Hallelujah! Hell yeah! Enough with the H's.
3) A fanatical devotion to the Pope. No, wait. Oh yeah, we're in the market for a lifeguard at the alpaca pool. We've had children's wading pools in all of the paddocks, but until Cinnamon Girl arrived home the other alpacas really didn't know what to do with them except use them as very big water buckets. But CG, she is one clever girl. She knew she could lay herself down in that lovely cool water and soak her over-heated self. Well. The light bulb went on in the rest of the herd and there was a shoving match going on as everyone in the girl's paddock tried to muscle themselves into the pretty small pool. CG wasn't giving an inch, feisty female that she is. It was really very funny to watch, and I wish to hell that I'd had my camera on me when I was watching the to-do. And now we need more pools, I'm thinking.
4) The lawn is mowed, the tractor is cleaned, and I am quite the happy camper.
