Just saw the new Indiana Jones movie and I've got one piece of advice for all planning on seeing it (and I promise this won't spoil the movie

While I agree with you that certain points were, well, impossible, (i.e. the scene with the refrigerator), I think it's fair to expect stunts like that from any Indiana Jones movie.
The two scenes from older movies that really stick out to me were when Indy and the blonde girl jumped out of the window at the beginning of Temple of Doom and when they jumped out of the plane and dropped hundreds of feet in a raft and survived the impact (again, the same movie).
But hey, knowing what to expect, I still thought it was a really great movie :) Also, Ironman blew me away as well, but I haven't seen Narnia yet.

note that both the scenes you referenced were from the same crappy indiana jones movie, temple of doom. i have long aserted that it is the ugly-step-sister of the 3 origional movies. the new movie fell short fo the previous ugly step sister. the first half of crystal skull was awsome and well handled (and the fridge thng was awsome). the second half quickly degraded, because of lack of explination, increasing departure from the previous models, and lack of attention to detail(jones going underground in a thunder storm at night and instantly having sunlight somming through the crack in the walls. WTF! , and the cop-out ending.
in short, the movie was an semi-enjoyable 2 hours, but it wasn't close to what i expect from speilburg or lucas.
